The Mac BU is tiny compared to the main Office team and I don't think Office 2007 beta testers got anything. Over a relatively short beta period several thousand bug reports and suggestions were submitted by what I imagine was a fairly small group of users, and the Mac BU definitely paid attention to the filed reports. When is the last time you got a personal email about a bug report you filed?
