Specifically:

- var declarations anywhere - core CFML2009

- optional args / default values in script functions

- ternary operator ? :

Overall, there&#039;s a big focus on specifying an enhanced CFSCRIPT that should allow components to be written entirely as script code.

Some things you won&#039;t see:

- zero-based arrays - it&#039;s too big a change (you wouldn&#039;t be able to use any existing frameworks as currently written if you enabled this - they&#039;d all break: any loop from 1..arrayLen(a) in existing code would break).

- ordered structs - that would have quite a performance overhead (and you could always use an appropriate Java collection if you really need ordering on struct-like collections).</description>
