@Carolina
If you have everything backed up already through Blackberry Desktop Software, use JL Commander to perform a "wipe" on the phone. (So that no software exists on the device at all.) Then restore the software using Blackberry Desktop Software, and all of your information should be restored along with it as well. Good luck, and cheers!

Hey Corey,

Thanks for your post! As others, I don´t have anything with the word SYNC in my Service Book options. My address book is gone from my BB, and it appears dimmed in my blackberry back-up on my computer.

I´m desperate, any ideas???

I downgraded from a blackberry curve 8330 to a 8703e because I sent it out for repair. My address book is grayed and there is no "Desktop [SYNC] service book" on the 8703e, since it's an older model maybe.

Any suggestions?
