Shortly after the iPad announced that it only took Micro-SIMs I commented it looks like you trim down a normal SIM with scissors, and have it fit into a Micro-SIM slot.
Looks like I was right, and TechRadar has a how-to guide for the SIM to Micro-SIM conversion. BGR has a few images of AT&T's new combo-SIMs, and although the AT&T Micro-SIM is a one-way street, MicroSim Shop sells a Micro-SIM (Mini-UICC) to SIM adapter for €5.99.
MicroSim Shop also has a guide for cutting a SIM down to size, and some shots of the final product being used in one of their adapters.

MicroSIM adapter has undergone some change. Previously the microSIM kept on falling out and it was pain in the butt trying to insert the adapter with microSIM inside it to the phone. For example my HTC HD2 is designed that way that you have to insert SIM card with its contacts facing down… and then when i try to do it, the microSIM just falls out..(( i have googled and found a better solution at http://www.microsim2sim.com
Their adapter has a special adhesive layer that keeps my microSIM firm in place. Got it today, works perfect.

Guys, as far as I know, there is no need to buy two Ipad data plans! I heard there is a thing called micro sim adapter. Basically, u put ur microsim card inside it, and then u can use it in both Ipad and Iphone. I googlesearched it and found this site that sells it: gomicrosim . com They say it costs 4.5 EUR. They also seem to offer the sticker guide to cut the regular simcard into the microsim. According to my calculations it should save me 1440$, since now I have no need to buy another 2 years plan with AT&T.

I have just recently got my micro-SIM adapter and cutter sticker from http://www.microsim2sim.com . The adapter allows you to use microSIM in any phone. I figured that I can save 24(2yrs) x $60 = $1,440 on my bill but using this adapter. By far this vendor has the best price and delivery option. Considering of getting a wholesale set just before the new iPhone 4 comes out. Gonna make some money.
